Why do we white folks like to pretend that pale skin is sexy when deep down we all hate it. come on lets lay?

it out in the open. how many times have you taken your shirt off and looked at your pale torso in disgust? i know i have. how many times have you looked at your pale legs in horror ? i know i have. we all know that the perfect skin for us will be olive, or maybe a little tanned, so why do we like to pretend that we love being pale ? lets air out our dirty laundry folks because only with this kind of dialogue can we find peace and acceptance within ourselves.

olive eh? and i'll bet you'd look just dandy skewered on a toothpick as well. i rather like how i look and since the japanese find it so attractive it can't be all bad. not to mention if i were any darker i couldn't play connect the dots on my arms when i'm bored, ppssstt come 'ere, from what i'm told you can actually get 666 across my back if you do it just right

Reply:I'm not white but if I were I would be happy with the way I looked, and not try to look like someone else. That orange skin looks disgusting, and I don't know who told people it was sexy. Plus I would want to look 25 when I'm 25 and not 40.

Reply:I don't think ppl should be ashamed of their skin color no matter what the complexion is. All this tanning (this one lady who works in my building tans so deeply her skin looks like leather) %26amp; skin bleaching. seems to be an indicator that something went wrong.
Reply:I don't hate my pale skin at all. I avoid the sun as I have had family members with skin cancer. I think to hate your looks is self destructive. I am happy with myself both inside and out.
