Yesterday me and my wife were showering together like normal when I noticed thease deep red dots on her skin? I counted about six dots all together most of which were on her back. she hasnt been outside recently much less the grass so that should cancel out red bugs... does anyone know what this could be??

Deep Red Dots on Skin????
It is next to impossible to tell you what these red dots on your wife's skin are, but here are a few hints.

Depending on what they look like, they could or could not be signs of cancer. Look up skin cancer pictures on the net and compare them to the ones she has. Perhaps she spent too much time under the sun at one time? Some effects that the sun produces don't show up until later.

An allergic reaction, did she eat anything that she shouldn't have? How about exposure to an unusual environment.

Do the dots itch, are they swollen, do they all look the same size, shape color? How long has she had them for? When did you first notice them?

Are there any other signs or symptos that she has which might be related to this?

Perhaps it's nothing serious, and maybe they were there since birth. Can her mom or caregiver confirm this?

Either way, you will need to visit a dermatologist to make sure it isn't something dangerous. Hopefully it isn't. Depending on your insurance, they might try telling you that dermatology is an aesthetic consultment and deter you from visiting one, in this case you will need a referral from your primapry doctor. Other than that, it's all I can think of at this time, I hope you are both ok.
Reply:that will be rushes
Reply:It could be a mild form of eczema. She should go to a skin doc.

Reply:It could be a number of things. My step father had one on his arm and it was cancer. Not to scare you...just worst case scenario.
Reply:Did you ask her about it? It might be pimples, or exma, or an alergy to something. Go to the doctor.
Reply:You need to test it with a glass, press it over the spots and if they don't fade it can be a meningitis rash, if that's the case you need to go to the hospital AnE quick time.
